Who is Keyz?  Keyz is a female hip hop/pop artist/songwriter who grew up in the streets of Tampa, Fl.  Living under the roof of a single parent home, she began writing and performing music at the age of 13 she likes to call it the journey of the tape recorder, pad, and pen. While freestyling during class and lunch got Keyz into nothing but trouble on campus it also opened new doors and by the end of her sophomore year in high school Keyz recorded her first song in a studio at the age of 16 and began pursuing music seriously. But no one said being a true artist was an easy task. Fighting to find the right tone to match the intelligence behind her flow was the test that sometimes seemed impossible. The biggest question of all was how do u stay true to yourself and still respect where u emerged from say Keyz.
